Fire crews work to put out the fire at the recycling site at Albert Hill Industrial Estate, in Darlington
FIRE crews are at the scene of a large blaze at a recycling site in Darlington.
The alarm was raised at 7.15pm to the fire at Albert Hill Industrial Estate.
Eight appliances from County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene, including crews from as far away as Consett.
Nobody is thought to have been injured in the blaze, although ambulances are on standby.
