Police have arrested two men after a street robbery in Sunderland.
A 21-year-old man was approached by two strangers who engaged him in conversation, in Maritime Terrace, at 1.10am on Tuesday (April 30).
One of the pair then punched him and stole his wallet before both attackers fled the scene.
Two men, aged 22 and 23, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and are in police custody assisting inquiries.
The police investigation into the incident continues and anyone with information is asked to ring 101, extension 69191.
