A TEENAGE girl had to be rescued by firemen – after getting herself stuck in a child’s wing.
The 16-year-old was out with friends in Catterick Garrison when she climbed into the swing on a play area just off Menin Road.
However, the swing was designed for a much younger child and once she was in it the teenager was unable to extricate herself, so one of her friends called in the fire service.
A local crew attended, at around 8.40pm on Tuesday, April 30, and used hand tools to loosen the bolts and free the youngster.
