SOLDIERS from 5 Regiment Royal Artillery, based at Marne Barracks, Catterick Garrison, will compete in a marathon on Thursday (May 1) to raise funds for children who have lost a parent in action. The runners will visit 12 North Yorkshire schools on the route to collect money which children have raised through charity days.
