A VARIETY of rare and unusual vintage vehicles from across the North-East and Yorkshire will be on show in Darlington.
The Head of Steam Museum’s annual Vintage Vehicle Rally family fun day will feature cars, buses, military vehicles, motorcycles, vans and a selection of caravans from years gone by on May 19.
As well as the chance to see the old vehicles there will be family entertainment including a mini-train ride, arts and crafts, juggling and balloon making plus a children’s entertainer.
The rally will be held on the museum’s event field at North Road Station from 11am to 3pm.
Nick Wallis, Darlington Council’s cabinet member for leisure, said: “The Vintage Vehicle Rally is a great way for people to reminisce about transport in years gone by and for younger visitors to learn more about what vehicles we travelled in to get from A to B in the past.”
Admission to the outdoor event is £1 which includes admission into the museum and onto the show field on the day.
