SHOPPERS were reassured everything was ‘fine’ after they spotted a car covered in parking tickets.
The stunt was to launch a car park loyalty scheme at the Prince Bishops shopping centre, in Durham.
A Mini Cooper parked in the Bishops Quarter was covered in fake parking tickets and two fake traffic wardens handed out the loyalty cards.
The loyalty card scheme offers rewards to visitors and runs until Saturday, June 1.
