AN award-winning fashion retailer is preparing to launch its latest designer collection in front of more than 900 hundred guests at one of the largest society events in the North-East.
Men and women’s fashion retailer Van Mildert, which has a store in Durham, will showcase its 2013 spring and summer collection at the Lobster Charity Ball, to be held at Hardwick Hall Hotel in Sedgefield on Friday, April 26.
Van Mildert models will be dressed to impress on the evening, wearing designer wear from top fashion labels including See By Chloe, Alice By Temperley and Vivienne Westwood.
The models will be displaying the latest trends in day wear, evening wear, ball gowns, transitional pieces and accessories on the catwalk.
Aimed at raising money for the North-East autism charity Daisy Chain, the ball will also feature performances by pop duo Go West, Britain’s Got Talent finalists Jonathan and Charlotte as well as comical ventriloquist Paul Zerdin.
