HARROGATE Ladies’ College has announced the appointment its new principal.
Syliva Brett, who is currently Deputy Head at Roedean School, will take up her post at the start of the new academic year in September 2013.
The announcement follows the appointment of Harrogate Ladies’ College’s current principal, Rhiannon Wilkinson, as the next headmistress of Wycombe Abbey independent boarding school for girls.
Mrs Brett is a graduate of Durham University and has an MA from the University of London.
She has previous teaching experience at Caldicott Boys’ Preparatory School and Downe House girls’ school in Berkshire.
She moved to Roedean – a globally-renowned day and boarding school for girls – as deputy head in 2008.
