A REPORT will be prepared for the coroner after the death of a 63-year-old man in a North-East village.
Police were called to an address in Over Dinsdale, close to the border of County Durham and North Yorkshire , on Tuesday (March 12) evening, following reports that a man was missing from home.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: “Officers carried out a search of the area around the man’s home and sadly found his body a short time later.
“He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and no one else is being sought in connection with the incident.
“We are not in a position to release his name. A file will be prepared on behalf of the coroner.”
