A MAN appeared before magistrates accused of allowing his dog to be dangerously out of control and cause injury at Darlington Railway Station.
Sean Michael Derbyshire, of the town's Eastbourne Road, is charged with possessing a fighting dog, namely a pit bull terrier, and two offences of allowing the dog to be dangerously out of control.
The charges follow an incident at the railway station on February 18 which left two men injured.
Magistrates in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, committed the case to Durham Crown Court on January 14.
Mr Derbyshire, 28, was granted unconditional bail.
