ACCIDENT VICTIM: Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman in her 40s died in a car crash in Northumberland.
It happened at 6.55am this morning, (Wednesday, December 12) at Horton Road in Bebside, Blyth, where for reasons yet to be established, a Vauxhall Corsa left the road and collided with a wall.
The driver of the car was taken to the RVI hospital in Newcastle where she later died.
The roads in the area were closed this morning for vehicle recovery and investigation.
