A COUNTY’S music service Christmas concerts programme has got underway.
Durham Music Service’s festive schedule began with a concert by Darlington Youth Brass Band at the town’s Grange Road Baptist Church on Saturday (December 8).
Durham County Youth Choir and County Wind Band will perform at St Michaels’ Church, Houghton-le-Spring, on Saturday (December 15). Tickets are £5, free for under 17s.
Darlington Youth Brass Band will return to action at Sadberge Village Hall on Thursday, December 20, at 7.30pm.
Finally, Durham County Youth Choir will sing carols at All Saints Church, Newton Hall, Durham, at 10.30am on Saturday, December 22, and also in Durham Market Place at 1pm, then with the Alumni Choir.
