If you’re looking for a beautiful festive gift set, but don’t fancy battling the Christmas shopping crowds, The Little Gift Set Company is a great option. Simply order your chosen gift set and it will be delivered straight to your recipient, beautifully wrapped and with a personalised card. Even better, they fit through standard size letterboxes so no more queuing in the sorting office.

Barnard Castle mum Larissa Robson, founder of the company, says, “I always found I used to struggle buying family and friends gifts for birthdays and special occasions. I was searching for something that didn’t exist and that’s when I came across a gap in the market; a gap I could fill, by providing beautiful, personalised gift sets.”

You can currently buy one of three Christmas themed sets. There is the Christmas Chocolate Gift Set, bursting with artisan treats for the chocoholic in your life. For children, there is the Christmas Eve Box, which includes everything needed to help Santa’s visit run smoothly. Lastly, there is the classic Christmas Gift Set, filled with festive favourites such as mulled wine spices, fruit cake and a hand-made Christmas tree decoration.

Every item in the boxes has been hand-picked by Larissa. “As a self-confessed foodie I had great fun sourcing the best products and flavour combinations,” she says. She tries to source as many local products as possible, including the Kacao Chocolaterie from North Yorkshire, and Tipple Tails Coco Bazaar fruit cake from South Yorkshire. The gift sets are all hand-packed with love and care. All you need to do is choose your gift set and write a message on the chosen personalised card.

After the festive season, The Little Gift Set Company will be collaborating with new suppliers and designing new gift sets ready for launch early in the New Year. This will include Valentines and Mother’s Day Gift Sets, along with the other special occasions such as birthdays and weddings.

You can find the gift sets online at littlegiftsetcompany.co.uk, and they will be available at the Bowes Museum Christmas Market (Dec 15-17).
