HOW much of the architecture of Darlington's town centre do you recognise? Here's your chance to win £50 of shopping vouchers and a photographic print of one of the views by entering our seasonal quiz.

  • CORRECTION: The captions for each picture now show the question number

All you have to do is identify each building and send in your entry on an email or an old-fashioned letter.

The Northern Echo:

Today's pictures have all been taken by Mik Skinner, pictured above, a former outdoor educator in the Lake District who is now a bike mechanic at Wheelbase in Bondgate, Darlington. He moved to the town in 2004 with his new wife, Clare, about bought a digital camera to record their young family.

"As time went on I found myself curious about my new hometown, and all its architectural delights and its long railway history," he says. "This has culminated in a large collection of shots which show the less noticed side of Darlington. I try to avoid the photos that are 'done to death' and, instead, search for a new angle on things."

The prize in our competition is £50 of Love to Shop vouchers, which can be exchanged at most high street stores, and a print of a picture of your choosing.

Simply identify the buildings and write them down, from numbers one to 11, on an email – to chris.lloyd@nne.co.uk – or a letter to Chris Lloyd, Echo Memories, The Northern Echo, Darlington DL1 1NF. Include your name, address and telephone number, and get your entries in by 9am on Wednesday, January 2.
