ONE thing is for sure in modern day politics, it is not easy to predict the outcome of elections.

Prime Minister Theresa May called an election after saying she wouldn’t. It appears voters don’t like U-turners.

It may have been better for her to the old adage of “a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush” and have stayed in charge of a party with a small, but workable, majority.

Now we are for a period of uncertainty as a hung parliament with Conservatives as the biggest party could put Brexit negotiations in jeopardy.
