AN outdoor music event has been rescheduled from last September to go ahead in the grounds of Thirsk Hall this summer.
Thirsk Live takes place on Saturday July 10 and features top tribute bands The Complete Stone Roses and The Paul Weller Connection who cover every period of Weller’s musical career from the Jam through to his current releases.
The opening act for the evening is PURE 80s featuring Sarah Fearnley who frequently performed with Jason Donavan before lockdown.
To finish off the event with a bang there will be a fireworks finale.
Organisers say it will be a family event with food stalls, children's entertainment, fairground rides and a bar.
A spokesman said: "We at Thirsk Live are looking forward to seeing you all at the first open air event in the area."
The event support charities Diabetes UK, The Stroke Association and Thirsk Homeless Organisation
Gates open at 3pm, for information see thirsklive.uk
