ARC Stockton’s long running programme of classical music events, Master Musicians, is starting off another season with performances from renowned pianist Bocheng Wang and classical guitarist Giulio Tampalini.

Performing on Tuesday, April 4, is Mark Viner. The pianist won first prize in the 2012 Alkan-Zimmerman Competition in Athens, he will be interpreting works by Alkan, Liszt and Godowsky.

Michael Newman is cellist with the Fitzroy Quartet, and Tyler Hay studied at the Kent Academy and the Purcell School. They will both be performing Debussy, Rachmaninoff and Ogden on Tuesday, May 9.

The youngest performer of the season is pianist Bocheng Wang. At just 20, Bocheng has already attended some of the most prestigious music schools in the world including the Royal Academy of Music. He will be performing works by Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt on Tuesday, May 30.

Classical guitarist Giulio Tampalini is returning to Stockton after sold out performance last year. Giulio has performed as a soloist and with some of Europe's leading national and international orchestras and will close the season on Tuesday, June 20. He will be playing works by Bach, Beethoven, Rossini and Tchaikovsky.

All Master Musicians events at Arc start at 2pm, and tickets cost £7 or £6 for concessions.
