TICKETS for a concert by Olly Murs at Darlington’s Northern Echo Arena go on sale on Friday, October 9 – and thanks to Darlington Mowden Park, we have ten pairs of golden circle tickets to give away.

Thousands of fans are expected to flock to Darlington Arena for the event. If things go as planned, it will be the second outdoor concert to take place in Darlington in 2021, following the confirmation that the Tom Jones concert has been rescheduled for Sunday, June 13 after being cancelled this year due to the Covid pandemic.

Olly Murs first came to national attention for coming second in the sixth series of The X Factor in 2009. In 2010, he released his debut single “Please Don’t Let Me Go”, which debuted at number one on the UK Singles Charts.

News of the another big-name concert for Darlington has been welcomed by Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen, who said: “My heart skipped a beat when I found out Olly Murs was coming to Mowden Park. It just shows because I wear my heart on my sleeve, we’re in the right place (at the) right time. He might be a troublemaker, but I hope he’s going to dance with me tonight.”

The Northern Echo has ten pairs of golden circle tickets to give away to lucky readers. To be in with a chance of winning, answer the question:
