WESTLIFE will tour the UK next year, including a date in the North-East.
The 15-date summer tour, which includes a date at Durham County Cricket Club's Emirates Riverside in Chester-le-Street on Saturday, July 18, will see the global boy band perform all of their greatest hits including “Swear It Again”, “Flying Without Wings” and “You Raise Me Up” as well as songs from their forthcoming new album Spectrum.
The tour, which covers some of the biggest outdoor venues in the UK, will conclude with Westlife’s first-ever Wembley Stadium show on Saturday, August 22.
“The shows are going to be incredible and will include all our greatest hits. We can’t wait to perform in Durham,” say the band.
Emirates Riverside chief operating officer Richard Dowson said: “We are thrilled Westlife are including us in their tour. They have enjoyed huge success over the past 20 years and this will be a fantastic night to look forward to next summer.”
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, November 8 from www.cuffeandtaylor.com and www.livenation.co.uk. Pre-sale tickets will go on sale at 9am Tuesday, November 5, and can be accessed via https://westlife.lnk.to/Spectrum. The Durham date is presented by live music promoters Cuffe and Taylor.
