HEMBREE, named “Best Artist We Saw at SXSW in 2018” by Rolling Stone and one of NPR’s 2018 Spotlight Artists, have announced their debut UK tour set for October-November.
The Kansas City band released their debut EP “Had It All” (Ribbon Music / Domino Records) in November last year. Its lead single “Holy Water” was featured in an Apple commercial, debuted on the Billboard Alt Radio chart, and garnered millions of streams.
The band is led by Isaac Flynn (lead vocals, guitar) and Eric Davis (keyboards, synths) whom are brothers-in-law. Alex Ward (guitar) and Austin Ward (drums) are brothers as well. Garrett Childers (vocals, bass) has to be content with the role of lifelong friend and general bon vivant. That familial tightness and subsequent convivial atmosphere shines through in their recordings and live show.
