DARLINGTON Music Society presents its latest concert on Saturday, March 17, at the Dolphin Centre at 7.30pm.

Matthew Scott, a clarinetist, and Christine Zerafa, a pianist, will be playing pieces by Debussy, Brahms, Poulenc and Penderacki, among others.

Scott graduated with a 1st class Honours degree from the Royal Academy of Music in 2013, and an MA with Distinction and DipRAMin 2015, generously supported by The Countess of Munster Musical Trust. and The Greenbank Scholarship in his Postgraduate studies. He was an artist for both Making Music's Philip and Dorothy Green Award for Young Concert Artists and The Countess of Munster Musical Trust Recital Scheme 2014-16.

Zerafa has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician is various concert series and festivals around the UK and overseas. She has been described as "a natural musician" and "a musician with a warm and very communicative personality" (The Times of Malta, 2012). She has been the recipient of various awards including first prize in the Malta National Bice Mizzi Competition.
