Make a date for Alan Bennett's Diaries

OASIS, Batman and Alan Bennett’s Diaries – are all part of the content being brought to the big screen by Vue Darlington.

The upcoming line-up includes Batman: Return Of The Caped Crusaders, on Monday, October 17, when the caped crusader and Robin will battle some of their most notorious foes on the big screen for one night only.

Johnny Carr, alternative content manager at Vue UK and Ireland, says: “Our live and event cinema showings continue to be hugely popular. We don’t just feature acting brilliance – there’s room for many different types of unmissable content.”

In October, Oasis will be coming to the big screen, via an exclusive Livestream Q&A, which tells the remarkable story of the iconic band – in their own words. Supersonic charts the meteoric rise of Oasis from the council estates of Manchester to some of the biggest concerts of all time in three years.

Later this year Vue is showing Alan Bennett's Diaries. This live event will take a candid look into the mind of Bennett, one of Britain’s best-loved writer. The event will include a screening of a new film about the writer, followed by an exclusive Q&A with the writer from his local community library in Primrose Hill.

Other highlights include: September 28 – RSC Live: Cymbeline; October 13 – Motley Crue – The End; October 16th – Miss Saigon, 25th anniversary performance; November 19 – Christmas with Andre Rieu; February 2 – NT Live: Amadeus
