SPRINGS Health and Leisure Club at Hartlepool Marina has announced the appointment of MARK APPLETON as its head chef. Mr Appleton has worked at several hotels and restaurants in the North-East and in the Lake District.
He served his apprenticeship at the Grand Hotel, Hartlepool, more than 20 years ago. In addition to his work at Springs, he leads an outside catering operation, which provides fine dining in clients' homes.
