ONE of Canada’s fastest-growing software companies has set up its first overseas office in the North-East.
Namtek Consulting Services, based in Quebec, has opened the office in Sunderland and recruited business development executive Eleni Tsoumpeli to sell its services in the UK.
The move follows support from Sunderland Software City which has launched a service offering overseas software companies three months of local sales support to help get UK operations up and running.
Namtek develops software which reduces operational costs and increases efficiency for small and medium-sized companies.
Namtek has also been supported by Sunderland Software City’s Intelligence Service, which provided the company with an in-depth overview of the market for their services in the UK and Europe.
