A DIRECTOR of the North-East’s biggest independent insurance broker has been appointed chairman of the regional committee of the British Insurance Brokers Association.
Denis Pinnegar, business development director at BiB Insurance, in Darlington, pictured, will hold the post for a year.
During his time in office, Mr Pinnegar plans to raise the profile of the insurance industry as a career choice for young people, and to involve them more in the development of the sector.
He will also liaise with the association’s headquarters in London.
