ROCKLIFFE Hall's managing director Jason Adams is one of four new members appointed to the non-executive board of the Pride of Britain Hotels.

The group is a 50-strong collection of Britain’s finest, independently owned hotels.

With over 25 years’ experience in the British luxury hospitality industry, Mr Adams joins the board alongside Jill Chalmers of Glenapp Castle, Ross Grieve of Seaham Hall and Andrew McPherson of Grantley Hall.

Mr Adams said: “Rockliffe Hall is a proud longstanding member of Pride of Britain Hotels who offer some of the most luxurious country house and boutique hotels in the UK.

"I am delighted to join the Pride of Britain non-executive board at such an exciting time for the hospitality industry as we reopen our doors.

"The past year has been tough, but I’m feeling positive about the next few months and what we can bring to guests who are longing for those missed hotel experiences.

"I look forward to working alongside my fellow non-executive board members and the wider Pride of Britain leadership team.”

Over the past 28-years, Mr Adams has held senior management positions at The Lygon Arms, Foxhills Club and Resort, the Arden Hotel, the Atlantic Hotel and Ocean Restaurant in Jersey and Seaham Hall and Serenity Spa in County Durham.

Rockliffe Hall is a five-star luxury golf and spa hotel in the Darlington village of Hurworth.

It boasts an award-winning spa, an 18 hole championship golf course and a wide range of restaurant options within the resort and hotel grounds.
