A NEW Toolstation store is opening in Thirsk next week, creating seven jobs.

The store is set to open on Monday, February 8 at the Marrtree Business Park on Cedar Road.

Store manager Zoe Ellis said: “We are pleased to be opening the new store and supporting local tradespeople DIYers and home builders with tools and more in Thirsk.

"We recognise the importance of challenging times and our knowledgeable team are committed to providing local customers with a reliable and convenient service for the essentials they need to tackle any task.”

In line with government guidelines, as an essential retailer of tools, DIY and hardware and a critical part of the supply chain for the construction industry, all Toolstation stores remain open across the UK.

Toolstation’s multi-channel service means customers can safely purchase the essentials they need from stores directly or via the store's website using their Click & Collect service.

Most products are available within five minutes after purchase.

Last month, Toolstation introduced its new Trade Credit account and January Catalogue as part of its continued commitment to its trade customers.

Toolstation Thirsk will be open from 7am to 8pm weekdays, 7am to 7pm Saturday and 9am to 4pm Sundays.
