AN IT services firm is providing its clients with access to free 24/7 remote support during the coronavirus pandemic.

Lucid Technology Solutions, which has its head office in Norton in Stockton and offices in Newton Aycliffe and Team Valley, has extended its external IT support service, which it usually operates 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, to help clients at any hour of the day at no extra cost.

They have made the move in a bid to help businesses continue to operate efficiently and securely during the coronavirus crisis.

Lucid works with more than 100 clients across the North-East operating in a variety of sectors including legal, healthcare, accountancy and manufacturing, many of whom have transitioned to home working since lockdown measures were declared in March.

The business will be offering the enhanced service to its clients who currently receive IT support from this week delivered by its team of 16 IT specialists.

Cheryl Spears, sales director at Lucid Technology Solutions, said: “The whole ethos of our business is geared around helping clients to operate as effectively and efficiently as possible through the best use of IT technology and this has never been more important during these challenging times, especially when many clients have had to adapt to home working."
