UTILITY ALLIANCE, the Hartlepool-based business energy consultancy, is turning its home blue as a tribute to NHS staff.

The office was lit up for last Thursday’s applause in saluting frontline workers in the health service and will remain so while the nation battles the coronavirus outbreak.

Marketing and PR manager Ian Willis said: “The nation paid tribute to the NHS workers last week and we thought it was an appropriate time to show our thanks by turning our HQ blue in support of everyone who is going above and beyond the call of duty to keep us all safe.

“Everyone at Utility Alliance is grateful for what the NHS staff and other key workers are doing during these unprecedented times, and while this is only a small gesture it is our way of saying thank you.

“Our building will remain blue for the duration of this pandemic, and we look forward to the day when everything returns to normal.’’
