BUSY Bees, one of the UK’s leading childcare providers, has announced its acquisition a childcare provider based in Darlington.
Ferndene Nursery, on Elton Parade, provides early years care to children aged from 0-5 years. It will join two other Busy Bees centres in the County Durham area.
Following the acquisition, Busy Bees now cares for more than 35,000 children across 378 nurseries in the UK and Ireland. Recent expansions overseas bring the total number of children in Busy Bees’ care to 55,000 across more than 600 centres in the UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Canada, Ireland, Italy, Vietnam and Australia.
