EVERFLOW Group, based at Wynyard Business Park in Teesside, has launched a subsidiary company to sit alongside its water retailer, Everflow Water, creating seven new jobs in the process.

The new venture, Everflow Tech, was created after the company realised the technology available to water retailers was hindering customer service and sales potential.

Everflow Tech has already released a pioneering retail management and billing platform, ‘Eclipse’, which acts as a one-stop-shop for data management, features an instant quotation generator allowing for quick sales, and utilises automation to increase efficiencies across all processes.

The software, which was developed in collaboration with business and IT consultancy, Waterstons, is being used by multiple retailers and has helped Everflow boost its secured customer base and annualised revenue, which are now at 23,000 and £52m respectively.

The group expects this growth to continue, and predicts the creation of 100 jobs over the next three years.

Everflow Group’s CEO, Josh Gill, said: “Through our experience with Everflow Water, we identified some significant challenges faced by retailers in terms of the technology available to the newly deregulated water market.

“One of our company values is ‘pioneering’, and I believe Eclipse, and the launch of Everflow Tech, is one of our greatest examples of this to date – we decided to innovate rather than accept the less-than-perfect solutions that were available to us.

“The result has been better than we ever imagined – Eclipse has received fantastic feedback from employees, brokers and the retailers who have invested in the software.”
