A NATIONAL salvage firm with its head office in Darlington has said it aims to deliver more jobs across the area.

Formerly known as National Salvage, which was founded in Darlington, the firm rebranded as e2e Total Loss Vehicle Management, following an increase in profits and a promise to drive recruitment near its base.

The salvage firm's head office in Dudley Road, Darlington, currently employs a team of about 25 people.

Neil Joslin chief operating officer at e2e Total Loss Vehicle Management said: "Our head office team and base in Darlington is critical to the delivery of our performance management goals and we look forward to strengthening that team.

"e2e will be a game changer for the salvage market and will see people rethinking their definition of a salvage partner.

"Care for our customer, our environment, our members and our people sits at the heart of what we do which embodies our valuable heritage, long term customer relationships and over 30 years’ experience in the salvage industry."

The firm said it worked with more than 30 salvage agents, and more than 50 "environmentally compliant" sites nationwide.

Mr Joslin added: "We are committed to outperforming the market when it comes to customer experience and protecting the environment.

"We continually listen to, invest in, develop and support our members and our people, who we rely on to deliver our service promise.”

The firm said it expected to implement its "recruitment drive" over the next 12 months.
