A FARM shop has won a major national award.
Hutchinson Hobbs Farm Shop & Butchers, near Yarm, Teesside, won the best small farm shop of the year award – the only one in the North-East to clinch the accolade, in the Farm Retail Association gongs.
The annual awards celebrate the best farm shops, farm cafes and markets, as well as pick your own farms and trade suppliers, and are the only awards judged by fellow farm retailers.
Milly Stokes, Chairman of the Farm Retail Association said: “The awards are a fantastic recognition of the high standards, creativity, passion and commitment to customer service in this industry.
"Shoppers can be confident that they are buying top quality produce from genuinely caring and thoughtful people when they visit farm shops and farmers' markets."
