A PUB has reopened after a £150,000 refurbishment.
The Bishop Blaize in Richmond’s Market Square was closed while its owners, Admiral Taverns, carried out a full refurbishment and overhaul of its food menu.
Newly appointed pub licensee Tracey Hook said: “We’re delighted to have taken on the Bishop Blaize which looks fantastic following the refurbishment.
“Having lived locally I’ve always thought the pub has huge potential and we really want to make it the place to go in Richmond, whatever your occasion.
“With our new food menu, drinks offer and sizzling entertainment plan we have something for everyone and are really looking forward to seeing the locals come down to our launch evening.”
During refurbishment, the pub’s exterior was refreshed, and it received a new bar with “trendy” interior decor.
