A JOINERY firm whose turnover has increased nearly tenfold in its first four years is planning further growth.
Original Joinery, which is based in Thornaby but works across the UK, offers a range of services including large scale residential, hotels and bespoke projects.
Recent work includes Backworth primary school, several Premier Inns and over 600 apartments.
Managing director Kyle Fowler said: “Our turnover has grown from £250,000 in 2014, when we were founded, to £2.3m last year, and our profit remains steady at 20 per cent year on year.
“This year we expect to reach turnover of approximately £3.5m, thanks to new projects and secured work.”
Mr Fowler says he wants to ‘keep up the momentum’ with growth plans including employing a quantity surveyor and another project manager, as well as opening an office in Birmingham.
