AN engineer has secured a two-year contract extension to maintain energy sector craft.

Fabricom Offshore Services will provide engineering, construction and associated support to Bluewater Services’ fleet of floating production, storage and offloading vessels, which operate around the world.

Bosses say the deal continues an association between the two companies that goes back to 2013.

Nick Oates, business unit director at Fabricom, which runs an office in Newcastle, added it was a reflection of its industry reputation.

He added: “We are extremely pleased to have been awarded this contract, which allows us to further develop our relationship with Bluewater. By enhancing our service offering, it enables us to provide the highest level of support and maintain our goal of being the partner of choice.”

Fabricom’s parent company Engie Fabricom UK runs a further office in Stokesley, North Yorkshire.
