TOUCHSCREEN maker Zytronic is to invest £1.5m in its Tyneside base after profits soared by a third.
AIM-listed Zytronic, which employs about 190 people in Blaydon, reported a 33 per cent rise in pre-tax profits to £12.3m in its full-year results , compared to £10.6m last year.
Zytronic now plans to create more jobs when new production facilities for its Zypos product open next year.
