A HOTEL company has invested £2.2m in extending one of its sites in the North-East to make it the biggest property in its group.
The North Tyneside Village Hotel is to unveil a purpose-built 400sq m conference facility, providing capacity for 350 delegates.
The extension, which will be opened next week, will also include 30 extra bedrooms, which will take the total number of rooms to 157, and make the hotel the biggest Village Hotel in the country.
General manager Andrew Thresh said: "The dedicated conference academy offers a more informal environment for meetings, and all of the latest technology to make each conference a success.
