MEMBERS of a local business club have been busy over the last twelve months raising money for a local hospice.
At Darlington Business Club’s annual meeting, held at Teesside University – Darlington Campus, on Wednesday, a cheque for £725 was passed to St Teresa’s Hospice.
Patrick Masheder, the newly appointed chair of Darlington Business Club, said: “It is a testament to the generosity of Darlington businesses that they have donated at every meeting for this worthy cause. Our members will now choose another local charity to support over the next twelve months.”
Darlington Business Club will meet again on Wednesday, June 5 at The Hall Garth Hotel. Businesses can book a place at www.darlingtonbusinessclub.co.uk.
