A FAMILY-RUN leisure business hopes to create 25 jobs after expanding to a new site.

Mini Monsterz, which offers soft-play facilities for youngsters, is moving to Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

The firm was founded seven years ago in Ruswarp, near Whitby, North Yorkshire, and is opening a second venture in 9,000 sq ft premises after receiving commercial property advice from York-based law firm, Denison Till.

Brian Moore, Mini Monsterz founder, said: “The economic climate has led many people to re-discover British holiday destinations and we aim to create 25 new jobs across our two sites.”

Kirsty Barsby, Denison Till associate in commercial property, worked on the deal.

She said: “The tough economic climate may create challenges, but it also presents opportunities for enterprising businesses and it is great to be supporting Mr Moore and his team as they invest in East Coast tourism and create jobs for the community.”
