(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH

TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire

County Council intend to make an Order under

Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be

to temporarily prohibit traffic on roads set out in

this notice.

1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle, cycle or pedestrian to proceed over that length of Chorley Lane, Charnock Richard from Chorley Lane Railway Bridge travelling in either direction for approximately 30 metres.



2. The prohibition will be operative between the following dates and times:-



I. 0700 hours on Monday 13th May 2019 until 2359 hours on Sunday 19th May 2019



0700 hours on Monday 13th May 2019 until 2359 hours on Sunday 19th May 2019

II. 0700 hours on Monday 27th May 2019 until 2359 hours on Sunday 2nd June 2019



Or until completion of the works within this period.

3. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:-



Chorley Lane - Charter Lane - Church Lane -Chorley Lane

4. An alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure is via:-



Chorley Lane - Leeson Avenue - Church Lane -
