Notice of Confirmation of a Public Path Diversion Order, Highways Act 1980, North Yorkshire County Council, Footpath Nos 05.5/22, 05.5/33 & 05.5/88, Riverside Caravan Park, Bentham, Diversion Order 2018

On 05/09/18, North Yorkshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.

Footpath No 05.5/22 will be diverted onto a new route between GR SD 6562 6911 and GR SD 6585 6916, via GR SD 6571 6908, a gap at GR SD 6572 6912 and a kissing gate at GR SD 6508 917.

Footpath No 05.55/33 will be diverted onto a new route between GR SD 6634 6883 and GR SD 6620 via GR SD 6632 6887, GR SD 6629 6884 and GR SD 366225 468915

Footpath No 05.55/88 will be diverted onto a new route between

GR SD 6608 6888 and GR SD 6626 6879 via GR SD 6609 6889, GR SD 6616 6883, GR SD 6618 6886, a gap at GR SD 6620 6885, GR SD 6621 6884 and GR SD 6621 6885.

Footpath No 05.55/88 will be diverted onto a new route between GR SD 6627 6879 and an existing Kissing Gate at GR SD 6649 6866 via GR SD 6639 6869, existing stone stile at GR SD 6641 6869, an existing kissing gate at GR 6642 6870 and GR SD 6647 6870. A copy of the order as confirmed and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Ingleton Library, North Yorkshire until 25/10/18. Copies of the Order and Map may be purchased from Waste & Countryside Services, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD (tel: 01609 532512) at a cost of £2, or can be downloaded free from our website www.northyorks.gov.uk/pathnotices. The Order comes into force on the date of confirmation, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under Paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by Paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 13/09/18, make an application to the High Court.

Notice of the making of a Definitive Map Modification Order, North Yorkshire County Council Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, District of Craven (Outside the Yorkshire Dales National Park), Definitive Map and Statement, Upgrading of Public Footpath No 05.36/30 to Bridleway, Brockhole Lane, Settle Modification Order 2009

The above Order, made on 29/08/18, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by upgrading the public footpath commencing at its junction with Ingfield Lane and proceeding along Brockhole Lane in a generally south south westerly direction to the junction with Lodge Road east of the property known as Hoyman Laithe.

A copy of the order as confirmed and the Order Map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Settle Library, North Yorkshire until 25/10/18. Copies of the Order and Map may be purchased from the Head of Legal Services, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD at a reasonable cost. Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to Ron Allan, Definitive Map Officer, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD, no later than 25/10/18, stating the grounds on which it is made. If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or to any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, North Yorkshire County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State or part of it if the Authority has by notice to the Secretary of State so elected under paragraph 5 of Schedule 15 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 may itself confirm the Order or that part of the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, in whole or in part, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
