EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER 2018
The above named Order made on the 30th August 2018 under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 will extinguish the public footpath at Middleton St George, Darlington described in the Schedule below and as shown on the Order Map. The said Order will not take effect until the Darlington Borough Council (Public Footpath No. 22 Middleton St George) Creation Order 2018 comes into operation.

Footpath No. 12 Middleton St George Starting at Point A, NZ 36247 13769
on Footpath 12 Middleton St George going south via the level crossing to Point B, NZ 36269 13605 at Yarm Road. Width undefined. Copies of the above Orders and the Order Maps have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Darlington Borough Council, 17 Allington Way, Darlington DL1 4QB from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. Copies may be bought there at the price of 50p each. Any representations about or objections to either Order may be sent in writing to the Assistant Director - Law and Governance, Darlington Borough Council, Town Hall, Feethams, Darlington DL1 5QT (ref: AE) not later than the 5th October 2018. Please state the name of the Order about which you are making representation or objection and state grounds upon which it is made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Darlington Borough Council may confirm the Orders as unopposed. If either or both Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order(s).
