DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL (MOVING TRAFFIC) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2012 (AMENDMENT NO. 11) ORDER 2018
Notice is hereby given that Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of the Traffic Management Act 2004. The Order will come into effect on the 10th September 2018 and will introduce a 20mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:-Beaumont Street; Beaumont Street West; Bells Place; Blackwellgate; Bondgate (from its junction with Prospect Place to its junction with St Augustines Way); Bucktons Yard; Bull Wynd; Chancery Lane; Church Row; Clarks Yard; Commercial Street; Coniscliffe Road (from its junction with Weir Street to its junction with Blackwellgate); Crown Street; Duke Street (from its junction with Raby Terrace to its junction with Skinnergate); East Row; East Street; Elwin Lane; Feethams; Feethams Leisure Access Road; Grange Road (from its junction with Victoria Road to its junction with Coniscliffe Road); High Row; Horsemarket; Houndgate; Houndgate To Beaumont Street Cross Back Street (from its junction with Houndgate to the southern boundary 12 Houndgate); King Street; Mechanics Yard; Northgate (from its junction with St Cuthberts Way/Commercial Street southwards to a point 10 metres north of its junction with Prebend Row); Northumberland Street; Post House Wynd; Prebend Row; Priestgate; Prospect Place; Quebec Street; Royal Oak Yard; Skinnergate; South Arden Street; Stonebridge; Tubwell Row; Union Street; West Row.
Copies of the Order and Notice may be examined free of charge during the hours of 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday inclusive at the Town Hall, Feethams, Darlington DL1 5QT. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision of it on the grounds that it is not within the power of the relevant section of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or of any requirement of that Act or any enactment made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks from the date of this notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
