NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (30 mph/40 mph Speed Limits) (Aysgarth Village), Order 2018

NOTICE is hereby given that on 21/08/18 North Yorkshire County Council made an Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 & 40 miles per hour on the roads in Aysgarth village specified below-the Order also revokes that part of the existing 1935 Order which relates to the 30 mph speed limit on the A684 and the existing 2006 30/40 mph speed limits Order in its entirety. 30 mph speed limit
A684 - From a point 65 metres north west of its junction with the northern side of the road which leads to Thornton Rust (measured along the western kerb line), south eastwards to a point 209 metres south west of its junction with the western side of Church Bank (measured along the northern kerb line); Road leading to Thornton Rust - From its junction with the southern side of the A684, westwards for a distance of 185 metres (measured along the southern kerb line); Garth Ends Lane -From its junction with the southern side of the A684, southwards for a distance of 141 metres (measured along the western kerb line); Dikehollin Lane - From its junction with the southern side of the A684, southwards for a distance of 18 metres (measured along the western kerb line); Church Bank - From a point 10 metres north of its junction with the A684, northwards to a point 19 metres north of its junction with the northern parapet of the disused railway bridge (measured along the eastern kerb line).

40 mph speed limit

A684 - From a point 209 metres south west of its junction with the western side of Church Bank (measured along the northern kerb line), eastwards to a point 47 metres west of its junction with the western side of Westholme Bank (measured along the southern kerb line); Church Bank - From its junction with the A684, northwards for a distance of 10 metres (measured along the centre line). A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 03/09/18, may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton and at Leyburn Community Library, Thornborough Hall, Leyburn, North Yorkshire DL8 5AB during normal office hours from 31/08/18 until 05/10/18 and also viewed online at www. northyorks.gov.uk/notices.

(30 Mph Speed Limit) (East Hauxwell), Order
2018
NOTICE is hereby given that on 21/08/2018
North Yorkshire County Council made an Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 miles per hour on the length of road in East Hauxwell specified below:-
Main Village Road - From a point 82 metres north of its junction with the centre line of Pump Street (measured along the eastern kerb line), south westwards to a point 82 metres west of its junction with the western side of the vehicular access which leads to the property known as 'Manor House' and the Sewage Works (measured along the southern kerb line).

A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 03/09/2018, may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton and at Catterick Community Library, Gough Road, Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire DL9 3EL during normal office hours from 31/08/18 until 05/10/18 and also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/notices.
