COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND IN BLACKBURN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council has made the Borough of Blackburn with Darwen (Laneside, Shorrock Lane, Blackburn) Compulsory Purchase Order 2018 under section 17 of the Housing Act 1985. It is about to submit this Order to the Secretary of State for confirmation, and if confirmed, the Order will authorise the Borough Council of Blackburn with Darwen to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purpose of disposing of the land to a person who intends to provide housing accommodation to meet the need of the Borough's population with the provision of family housing.
A copy of the Order and the accompanying map may be seen at all reasonable hours at the office of the Director of Growth and Development, Town Hall, Blackburn. BB1 7DY
Any objection to the Order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State, Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, Planning Casework Unit, 5 St. Philips Place, Colmore Row, Birmingham. B3 2PW, before the 24th day of August 2018 and should state the title of the Order, the grounds of objection and the objector's address and interests in the land.
