THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (BUTTERSTILE LANE AREA, BURY) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough has made the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as follows:-20MPH SPEED LIMIT APPLYING TO THE FOLLOWING STREETS: 20mph speed limit applying to all streets within the residential estates to the west of the A56 Bury New Road and north of A6044 Hilton Lane (including Butterstile Lane, St Ann's Road, Lowther Road and Sandy Lane etc). A copy of the Order which comes into operation on 11* June 2018, a plan showing the roads and areas affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be inspected at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury BL9 OEJ during normal office hours.

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) (BUTTERSTDLE LANE, PRESTWICH) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Butterstile Lane, Prestwich - from Butterstile Lane for a distance of 50 metres in a north westerly direction

The reason for the proposed order is to enable manhole frame and cover repairs to be carried out.

The alternative route will be Hilton Lane, Sandy Lane and Agecroft Road West and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation on Monday 04 June 2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to one month, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately one day. Dated 31 May 2018 Council Solicitor
