Helen Lynch Head of Legal & Democratic Services County Hall, Durham DH1 5UL (A692 FRONT STREET, DIPTON) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2018 The Council on 04/04/18 made an Order under Section 14
(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended,
to close to all vehicular traffic a 600 mtr length of A692
from and including its junction with Cooperative Terrace
to Derwent View Terrace, Dipton by reason of carriageway
resurfacing works to be undertaken. The maximum duration
of the temporary closure under the Order is 18 months and is
required from 06/04/18 for the duration of the works anticipated
to be 8 days However, on rare occasions, alternative dates for
closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
Alternative route: from the south western side of the closure
from A692 south westerly and turning generally easterly onto
A693 then generally easterly and turning northerly onto B6168
leading to A692 to the north eastern side of the closure and
vice versa.

CHESTER-LE-STREET)
PUBLIC PATH STOPPING UP AND DEFINITIVE MAP
AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2018
The above order was made on 29/03/18. The effect of the order
will be to stop up the unrecorded footpath at Picktree Lane,
Chester-le-Street running from a point on Picktree Lane in a
generally north-westerly direction to the car park of the former
Civic Centre, to be replaced with a new Public Footpath, as
shown on the order map.
A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of
charge at Chester-le-Street library and the Council’s Offices at
County Hall, Durham during normal opening hours and via the
Council website. Copies of the Order and map may be bought
there at the price of £1.15.
Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent
or delivered in writing addressed to Loraine Holding, Legal
Assistant, County Hall, Durham, DH1 5UL, no later than
03/05/18. Please state the grounds on which it is made. If no
such representations or objections to the Order are duly made,
or if any so made are withdrawn, The County Council
of Durham may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed order.
If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment,
Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations
or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with
the order.
