ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (RUFFORD DRIVE, WHITEFIELD) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Rufford Drive, Whitefield at its junction with Bury New Road - Temporary Road Closure.
The reason for the proposed order is to enable electrical works to be carried out in the carriageway.
The diversion route will be via Bury New Road, Selby Avenue, and Malton Avenue and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 26 February 2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, (Anticipated duration of works - 1 week, between approximately 8.00am and 6.00pm). Dated 22 February 2018 Council Solicitor
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (BASS LANE, SUMMERSEAT) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Bass Lane, Summerseat - between A56 Manchester Road and Crag Lane
The reason for the proposed order is to enable safe access to communications boxes
in the carriageway.
The alternative route will be via Crag Lane, Rowlands Road, Railway Street, Peel Hall Road, Newcombe Road, Longsight Road, Bolton Road West, Bolton Street, Bridge Street, Peel Brow and Manchester Road and vice versa. The Order comes into operation on Monday 26 February 2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to one month, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately one night (21.00hrs to 06.00hrs). THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (FAIRFAX ROAD AND CHESTER STREET, PRESTWICH) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

1) Fairfax Road, Prestwich - between Bury New Road and Poppythorn Lane/Heys Road
2)Fairiax Road and Chester Street, Prestwich - at their junctions with Bury New Road
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. The alternative route for Fairfax Road closed between Bury New Road and Poppythorn Lane/Heys Road will be via Heys Road, Heywood Road, Scholes Lane and Bury New Road and vice-versa and for Fairfax Road closed at its junction with Bury New Road will be via Rectory Lane, St Mary's Road and Bury New Road and vice-versa. For Chester Street closed at its junction with Bury New Road, the alternative route will be via Bury New Road and Clifton Road and vice-versa. The Order comes into operation on Sunday 25 February 2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 3 months, although the anticipated duration of the works on Fairfax Road between Bury New Road and Poppythorn Lane/Heys Road is approximately 4 Sundays and on Fairfax Road and Chester Street at their junctions with Bury New Road, the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 5 evenings.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (PUBLIC FOOTPATH 16, RADCLD7FE (MANCHESTER, BOLTON & BURY CANAL TOWPATH)) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any members of the public from proceeding along:-

Public Footpath 16, Radcliffe (Manchester, Bolton & Bury Canal Towpath) -between Bridge 17a School Street Footbridge and the Bury/Bolton boundary The reason for the proposed order is to enable canal towpath resurfacing works to be carried out.
The alternative route will be via the Canal Towpath from the School Street Footbridge to Water Street, Water Street, Bolton Road and Stopes Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into operation on Monday 05 March 2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months. Dated 22 February 2018
