(FISHBURN) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2011 (AMENDMENT No 1) ORDER 2018
The Council intend to make an Order under Sections 1, 2 & 4 & Pt. IV of Sch 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to introduce a No Waiting/ No Loading At Any time restriction on Fishburn Crossroads (into B1278 Salters Lane, C26 Front St. and Butterwick Rd) and make minor administrative amendments to the Order to reflect the changes. A copy of the draft Order and supporting documents may be viewed at Sedgefield library and at County Hall, Durham during normal opening hours. Any person wishing to object to the proposals should send their grounds of objection, in writing, to Loraine Holding, Legal Assistant County Hall, Durham or by email to highways.orders@durhamgovuk (quote ref: 16947) by no later than 23/02/18.
(U43.14 SEDGEFIELD STATION ROAD, SEDGEFIELD) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2018
The Council on 22/01/18 made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, to close to all vehicular traffic a 24m length of Sedgefield Station Road between Station House and New Station House to enable drainage repair works to be undertaken. The maximum duration of the temporaryclosureunderthe Orderis 18 months andis required from 23/01/18 and for the duration of the works, anticipated to be 1 day. However, on rare occasions, alternative dates for closures may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. Alternative route: via the eastern or western access from A689.
